A Collect for St. Valentine's Day

"Most Gracious Heavenly Father, You gave Saint Valentine the courage to witness to the gospel of Christ, even to the point of giving his life for it. Help us to endure all suffering for love of you, and to seek you with all our hearts; for you alone are the source of life and love. Grant that we may have the courage and love to be strong witnesses of your truth to our friends and family and to the whole world. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen."

Greetings to one and all.
"Valentine's Day" As all know is a day wherein all, most especially young lovers, can reach each other in a new way.

Saying this in an altogether different way...It's kind of day that gives the young lovers a love tool.

We, as Christians, also have a love tool. Our love tool doesn’t have a specially day though. We can put it to use each and every day.

This tool is "Praise" The Bible says: If we hold our peace, or fail to praise the Lord, even the rocks would cry out praise unto him.

The Lord, Jesus doesn’t need our praise. He wants us to praise him, for in doing so, this releases his blessing's unto us. It also releases the anointing, the anointing also breaks the yoke of bondage, which of course, allows us to praise him in a greater way. It's an on going process my friend.
May our Lord, Jesus, richly bless both you and yours.
